“When we checked in the staff was friendly. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. In the morning I was getting into shower and realized that there were no towels in the room! Upon further investigation, I noticed there was no soap, lotion ect, or garbage can in bathroom. I sent my daughter for a towel and a wash cloth. She came back with a towel and a hand towel, they did not have wash cloths! I showered and did my make up and searched for a hair dryer, guess what? No hair dryer! I went down the three flights of steps with wet hair to retrieve a hair dryer. No one was at the front desk. There were two employees and they were both outside smoking!!! After all this debacle I did not have time to sit and eat breakfast so I figured I would grab a boiled egg or a yogurt, (pretty standard with free breakfast) they didn 't have those items. The bananas were old and there was no other fruit. I grabbed a coffee, which was horrible and left. I have stayed at Super 8's before and had enjoyed my stay. Definitely would not recommend the Super 8 in Lynchburg. PS I complained, and was supposed to recieve half off my stay, but that hasen't happened yet. In my mind that is the least they can do.”

“We arrived to our room to find the bathroom, covered with hair and other things that showed that the cleaning process was not very well done. It was quickly re-cleaned after we asked. The breakfast is a typical waffles and the like. The staff were friendly.”

“I recently stayed here and #1 No matter if you are Handicapped or not, they will NOT assist you with your luggage. #2 only 1 person is at front desk 24/7. # 3, the sofa bed in my suite was so dirty with bodily fuilds and food stains that I would not sit a trash bag on it. #4.The plastic air proof zippered bag with extra sheets and a blanket was ripped at 3 of the 6 seams, not very sanitary because they don't get washed if they were not used. #5 I wanted to take a hot bath and the water stopper in the tub would not work, so I took it out and there was huge hunk of numerous colors and type of hair. #6 They do not have an indoor pool!! As stated in on the website on Agoda! Small unattended pond out side filled with alot of debris and trash #7 BEWARE THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD AFTER YOU CHECK OUT AND THEY DONT EVEN NOTIFY IN ANY WAY THAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU, When asked why I had 2 charges on my card after I checked out 3 hrs before I checked my bank accounts and saw the 2 charges!!I I HAD ALREADY prepaid for the room on the 16th in Full.4 days prior to checkin. I also thought that the $20.00 room deposit was unheard of in today's market and I travel quite a bit and I haven't had a deposit less than # 75.00 in many years. Well the $350.00 charge I received unannounced I was told when I called them to find out why the 2 charges the girl put me on hold ans said wait I heard something and comes back and said the $250.00 was for a smoke fee, well I don't smoke and apon checking in when I entered the room it has a heavy smell of smoke and after seeing the couch it was probably some of the reason for the odor. I used more than half a large can of Lysol and frebreeze. I also purchased a candle and lit that to help mask the smell. And she never did answer what the other $100.00 charge was for?? So I disputed the accusation and that I wanted the charges reversed immediately, not only was the statement false but for them to take $350.00 out of my bank account WITHOUT ANY NOTIF”
