“The location was great but that’s all I can give credit to. There seems to be a disconnect between the front desk at the resort and the privately owned rooms because what a chaotic situation checking in! I felt like a nuisance to the staff checking in and they basically handed me keys and said nothing else. The resort was incredibly filthy. The room, pool area and really all of it, filthy! Our room had a broken side table with nails sticking out, hair all in the shower and doors and walls were filthy. Pool area was so dirty. The breakfast was not in the restaurant but held in a ballroom and food was either cold, old or not filled! The trash and food left around on the tables was just gross! I fully understand that the resort is older but I expected at the very least the standard to be higher to provide a clean environment! Very disappointing! ”

“We just got back from our spring break week and for the $ it was a deal,(me and the oldest split)which is why I booked, but we agreed we wouldn’t return next year. There was 3 adults, a 14 year old, 10 yr old and a 2 yr old. I did not like that you entered in the bedroom first to gain access to the rest of the room, it just wasn’t ideal as the toddler slept in the bedroom. Beds were not comfortable, we all complained of severe back pain a couple days in. Elevators required several days of maintenance, which resulted in long wait times because only 2 of the 3 was working near the end of our stay, housekeeping never came in or asked if we needed anything, but they were quick when I called for bedding and towels. I did not like parking in the parking garage because of the walk so therefore I didn’t venture out much because I didn’t want to be in there alone or at night. Also, 1 bedroom is 1 parking pass and we took 2 vehicles so it was $25 a day for parking for the 2nd car.. On the positive side, kitchen had everything we needed, dishwasher was a lifesaver, trash cans were steps away outside our room, 3 outdoor pools, several hot tubs and the indoor pool area was nice. The bar and restaurant on sight was great as well.. our view was amazing and easy beach access. They do have swim towels so you don’t have to worry about packing, but you get them from the front desk. After a certain time, the building required a code, as did the pool area if you came off the beach, so only those who were staying on the resort had access.. nice to know after hours safety was a priority. I did appreciate the lock codes after a certain time, so if you were not staying at the resort you didn’t have access and they did check your wrists for the bracelet. ”
