“Really good clean great lobby”

“The room is nice with mini kitchen area. The AC is a little loud and cold. We tried to adjust it but could not do it manually. Also there’s no remote for it. The breakfast is good. Lots of food to choose from. ”

“Booked this at the last minute to take my kids to see the lights on James Island. Got a great price deal and was not sure of what to expect. It is clear that this building has been updated as the lobby and breakfast area were very welcoming. The rooms were clean, everything worked, and myself and the kids enjoyed our stay! ”

“Definitely recommend if you are traveling with young kids! Tru hotels are hands down my favorite. Haven’t been to a bad one yet ”

“Would stay again, quiet , clean had a nice gym and pool . ”

“My husband and I wanted a night away from the kids to actually spend some quality time together. We decided to get a hotel room and be able to enjoy doing some adult activities. The room was ok. Could have been cleaner. The fireplace didn't work. There was a 22oz can of beer on the balcony. There wasn't any silverware, dishes, pots or pans provided to use the full service kitchen. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room either. The TV didn't have a remote control, and didn't have buttons on it in order to watch. The vending machine took my money to get a drink, since there wasn't a bucket for ice or ice trays in the freezer. The hotel manager, who was pretty rude to us, came knocking at our door at 1030 to make sure that we were getting ready to leave at 11 for check out, when they could have called the room. The bed was very uncomfortable. It sunk down where you would lay, having no support. The hot water in the shower didn't last through me washing my hair. All in all, we didn't enjoy our stay. We did spend time together but the main reason for staying there was to conduct adult activities but because of the lousy bed...... ”

“The staff is really awesome and the manager Mario really takes pride in his hotel kudos to the entire staff from management to housekeeping y'all are so awesome and please do not forget maintenance and the cooks”
