“If you love old houses, you’re gonna love this place. It had tons of antiques and even a cute little pool in the back!”

“This place is more like a cheap motel. Felt like quite a scam in my opinion. First, the type of people that stay there. Cheap motel types. Not very classy. Resort fee? For what? It's tiny with nothing to offer. They allowed a group to blast urban music very loudly all day, I can't imagine the poor people with rooms by the pool. Pool was tiny and not heated. Spa water was filthy brown as it was obvious they don't clean it. Staff were not very friendly and kind of rude. Do not pay more than $50 a night, because that is the type of hotel you are getting. Only positives were the net was fast and the rooms were updated and large, but with no amenities, dirty spa, and types of people, you might as well go to a cheap motel.”

“The George Manor is a beautifully preserved piece of history. As part of your stay, free breakfast and parking are included. The suites are very modern with plenty of room for storing belongings. Furthermore, free water and snacks were left in the suite each day! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time interacting with the George Manor's staff. Graham (the owner), Rosie, Michael, and Jeff are super friendly with their southern hospitality. I highly recommend booking a visit! ”

“Hotel was centrally located in Galveston. Within walking distance of the strand. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Restaurant is pricey and similar in pricing to local eateries. Galveston for most is a cruise starting location. The town is not big but it has it's charm.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lucine. The proximity to the beach and surrounding amenities was perfect. The room was super clean and we loved the overall vibe. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool but there were a lot of children playing loudly. My only beef is with the rooftop bar. Completely overpriced and the bar staff seemed apathetic.”

“Overall, we had a good stay for the weekend. We had a few hiccups where we had called twice to ensure they had a tesla charger and they said yes both times. We arrived and asked again to make sure and again we got a confirmation. Well the 2nd night we asked them to charge the car and they said they didn't know if they had the right charger but we needed to sign a waiver. The valet "ran out" of waivers so we went to the front desk who had no idea about the waiver. Either way, it was annoying to be on a higher end resort where the answer to everything was always "I don't know." We did the breakfast buffet both morning and were seated immediately but took someone 10 minutes to get our coffee/drink order. Even the morning manager didn't seem to care that her team was working inefficiently. I had to tell her to actually send a server our way. It just seems like there is a lack of training with the staff overall. Besides the not so great staff, the rooms were decent and the pool was great.”
