“My boyfriend and I stayed in the Schneewittchen Cottage. That's Snow White in English. When we arrived, soothing music was playing in the quaint and cozy cottage. Also, an electric fireplace was going. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and sodas as well. The room was creatively decorated with a Snow White theme. The bed was comfortable as well. In the morning, a huge breakfasts of meat, boiled eggs, bread, fruit, and jams was left on our porch furniture. We really enjoyed the cottage and the fire pit outside. ”

“SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort lives up to its name and advertisements. My sister and I stayed here for one night in the standard cabin, which was a perfectly furnished and clean tiny home facing one of the three ponds on their property. Beautifully peaceful and serene, it's only 20 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg but remote enough that you get a full hill country experience with rolling hills and clear skies. The deer on the property are a delight to see, and they gather everyday in front of the shared lounge area so you're guaranteed to see them. The swimming pool and sports courts are nice and well-maintained, and the staff is extremely nice and friendly. There is a jacuzzi-type area for relaxation as well, and the hours are perfect to enjoy the amenities. There is a vineyard on site for those who like to partake in the Texas wine-country scene, and snacks available in the reception area. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to experience the serenity of Texas hill country without leaving the comforts of modern amenities behind.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Albert Hotel, it is in a very good position in the centre of Fredericksburg, excellent for walking and exploring. Nice facilities e.g good fitness centre and outside pool area. We should say that some of the rooms are below reception level i.e effectively on a basement floor with no views but they are large and we loved the bathroom.. For the room rate it seems a little expensive but the staff are great, very helpful and the adjoining bakery/cafe (part of the hotel) is excellent for breakfast and light snacks.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Inn on Baron's Creek. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the overall hotel was beautiful. Walking distance to all the shops on Main Street. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Fredericksburg ”

“I loved how quaint this little motel is. It reminded me of traveling with my parents in the 1950s and 1960s. The staff was quite friendly and the room was clean. The only drawback was the toiletries that were provided. We had two women staying for three nights, and were given one set of shampoo and conditioner, and only one silver dollar sized sliver of soap. Also, we were provided with enough coffee to make 8 cups but only enough creamer and sugar for two. When the cleanup staff came by the next morning, I told her that we needed more soap, coffee, and lots of creamer and sugar. She was most gracious, and provided that for us along with two bars of soap that could be used in the shower. Since the room rate is close to $200 per night during the week, the owners should provide adequate toiletries, coffee and coffee supplies.”
