“AC wouldn’t cool. Room was crazy hot”

“Room was adequate. Used dental floss in sink when we walked in. Gross! Shower water pressure was terrible and is the reason we will not be returning. I expect a strong, cleansing shower, not a rainfall mist that barely does the job—a 15 minute shower stretches into 25 just to get the soap rinsed off! Very unpleasant. For the rates they charge, it would be money better spent upgrading the plumbing and cutting back on the EXTENSIVE amount of alcohol in the room’s bar. ”

“I booked this hotel for the location and it's proximity to the hotel. Breakfast had very limited options. Property is a bit worn out and need renovation and cleanliness. ”

“We stayed at Texas A & M Hotel and Conference Center for one night last week prior to our university tour with our seventeen year-old daughter. We were very impressed with the facilities and appreciated the excellent location right on campus across from Kyle Field. It was really convenient to be able to walk everywhere rather than trying to negotiate directions and parking. We really enjoyed our short time at the property and would have liked to stay longer but we only booked an overnight and needed to head back to Houston after our campus visit for an early morning flight home the following day. The room was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. We ate breakfast at Brazos Kitchen on the morning of our university visit and the food & service was excellent. My daughter picked out a Texas A & M sweatshirt from the gift shop that she preferred over the selection in the campus bookstore as well. All in all, we had a fantastic time at the Texas A & M Hotel and Conference Center and will definitely come back again if our daughter goes to college there!”

“I always try to look for the good in every property I stay at as I was in the hospitality business for several years. Even though this was only for one night, and the staff were great overall, the accommodations were poor. Trim pieces falling off, rust around the lamps by the bed and on the bathroom door hinges, and very worn out beds. The hotel smelled a bit musty, and is in dire need of an update. I hope that this property is updated sooner than later. ”
