“We stopped here for one night and the room had everything we could possibly need. Everything feels clean and the room was spacious. Breakfast was a bonus. ”

“The room was very nice. The staff was rough around the edges for the front desk crew. They were not that welcoming or accommodating without pleasantries. The attendant disappeared to the back and never came back. The employee who managed the breakfast was great though. And the hot food selection was very good.”

“Left special instructions on booking about the whirlpool. Room stated suite with whirlpool. I was specifically looking for a place with jacuzzi and outdoor grill. Upon arrival, they said they no longer have the whirlpools or bbq facilities. My son had Recognition weekend at the Citadel. Brutal week leading up to this day. All he requested was a room with a whirlpool. I splurged for this room only because of that. I am extremely disappointed in Hampton inn. I would have requested a refund and found another hotel but did not want to make a fuss on such an important weekend for my son. In my opinion, they should have offered a complimentary night. There was a lot of time and planning put into this trip. Frustratingl!”

“I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights, and my experience was pretty average—essentially, you get what you pay for. Breakfast: The breakfast selection was quite limited, with a cold setup that didn’t offer much variety. The coffee was just okay, which was a bit disappointing. Location and Pricing: I was priced out of the more central hotels, so I chose this one for its affordability. The free parking was a nice perk, especially since I had a car. Room Quality: The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, and both the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well. However, there was a faint smell in the room that was somewhat off-putting. Amenities: The amenities were decent given the price point, and I appreciated the efforts of the friendly staff, especially as they were navigating power outages caused by the hurricane during my stay. Overall, while this hotel wasn’t my first choice, I would consider staying here again for the nightly price. It met my basic needs, and the staff's friendliness certainly made the experience better. Also, there was no gym, as advertised.”

“Breakfast was nice....room was nice but the hotel doors didn't work. I had to get my key redone 2x a day. It was very inconvenient to have to come in late & then wall around the entire building to get inside of it bc their doors would work when they wanted. I would not be staying here again ”
