“Absolutely wonderful experience for our girls weekend! We took a girls weekend here, and the spa, the restaurant, and the staff were fantastic! The only feedback is to put a carbon filter in the elevator because of the smell from the downstairs.”

“First time at a motel, always gone to hotels, but this was a great experience would do it again. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed was sufficiently comfy, and despite being next to the highway the room was quite quiet. My only complaint was that I couldn't change the thermostat.”

“Quick overnighter in Bellingham this accommodations is close to everything. Almost walking definitely in summertime. Comfortable beds, clean rooms very friendly staff. The breakfast is pretty basic some yoghurt and cereal and you can have one waffle which could’ve been cooked a little bit better. They have hot tub sauna and pool, but I believe only the sauna was working because we were there in winter time.”

“I was thrilled to finally find a day when this property wasn't fully booked. We weren't disappointed. Every room was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. This inn has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and is nestled in a charming neighborhood. We slept great in the king size bed. Breakfast was outstanding -- generous and delicious. Really enjoyed the quiet solitude this inn offered.”

“Clean, quiet, well maintained. Staff quickly reacts to the issues. The only issue was smoking related, which was quicly resolved: I was initially given a 'non-smoking' room (314) which was definitely smoking at some point if not recently cause it stunk so much from the smoke + substance used to reduce the smell, but when asked for a room change was given a very good room with no smell of anything at all. Also, cigarette butts urns are located very close to both side entrances, so smokers smoke pretty close to the building.”

“The property was well kept. The office was was ran professionally. The rooms were cleaner and more modern than a well rated chain hotel we stayed at the night before. Family advised the area has been seeing an upturn in new construction and updating of older buildings. This property is a great example of updating an older hotel. Con: One microwave in the hall to share speaks against every nice thing I have to say. You can do better. Get a microwave in each room.”

“We stayed here for one night. Overall, the room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, albeit quite simple. The beds and linens were clean, the towels were fresh, and I appreciated having a fridge, microwave, TV, A/C-heater unit, shampoo, soap, and a small table in the room. Given the price I paid via Expedia, I was satisfied with the clean and comfortable accommodation. The parking area was well-lit and equipped with functioning security cameras, which put me at ease. There was also free coffee downstairs, which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the common areas presented a completely different picture. The hallways and stairwells were extremely dirty and looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned properly. The outdoor terrace/BBQ area was also very unappealing—there were no chairs or tables, and trash was scattered around and inside the bins. This area definitely needs more attention and regular cleaning. In the morning, I noticed a worker cleaning the parking lot, which is a big plus for the hotel. -It seems that priority areas get cleaned while, less important ones are neglected. We also had an issue with the key card. It worked at first but then stopped working completely. The washing machine didn't work either—fortunately, we didn't need it. Judging by the general state of things, it seemed like it hadn't worked for a long time, though I can't say for sure. The first my disappointment was the outdoor pool. The pool was one of the reasons I chose and booked this hotel. I wasn't aware that it would already be closed. I think guests should be clearly informed at the time of booking about any temporary or seasonal pool closures. Had I known about this beforehand, I might have considered a different hotel or just know prior how it will be. Overall, given the discounted rate I paid via Expedia, I was satisfied with the clean room, clean linens, useful amenities, and safe, well-lit parking. With better cleaning and maintenance of the common areas, as well as clearer information regarding seasonal amenities like the pool, this hotel could offer a much better experience, garner better reviews, and consequently attract more guests. Wishing you all the best!”

“I give this hotel a yes, under a bit of duress, because I absolutely love the concept and decor. Enormous bedroom, and huge separate sitting room, with lovely mid -century design. The room however had lots of very noticeable mysterious stains on the carpet, and smelled like possible cat pee covered up by Pine Sol. I do hope the proprietor will replace the carpets-this is desperately needed and will really upgrade the whole place. ”
