“I work from my laptop, so I spend almost 100% of my time in my room. Sonesta Simply Suites has made this incredibly convenient for me to do. Me and my girlfriend are in a studio suite, and the room gives us a functional, nice kitchen to make food in. The room is beautiful, the tv works great, but one thing that’s off is the wifi isn’t the best for some reason. I can handle that small inconvenience considering there’s not anything else inconvenient about this hotel. We can wash our clothes for free in the laundry room, which is a very clean facility that also offers various snacks and drinks you can buy for your room. (Also doubles as a nifty workout room.) Our Shiba Inu also enjoys this stay with us, and appreciates the little doggy area outside we can walk her too. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They have helped us with anything we needed at any time. There is such a warm, comfortable energy felt through the entire place. Couldn’t be happier with our stay here! ”

“My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times, primarily because it is close to my daughter and grandkids. We especially like the hotels proximity to the Domain because we can easily walk to numerous good-quality restaurants, shopping and whole foods. We feel it's a relatively safe, clean and upscale area. We will be returning”

“When I register for a stay at DoubleTree or Hilton (I have stayed at both independent of each other), I expect 3 to 4 star accommodations. This location was not in keeping with my expectations. After checking in, we went out. We returned late. Upon looking at our room, we noticed that it was not clean. It was filthy! I notified them and they cleaned it. My greatest concern is that I had to ask. A cookie does not make up for the lack of attention to details they were once known for. Their standards are not what they once were. Falling rapidly from 4 stars.”

“I have traveled all over the world and stayed in hotels grand and not so grand. This place hit all the sweet spots. Location, comfort, quirkiness! Much like when choose a restaurant, I do not want some place to be like home, I want somethng different and unique. SMack dab in the middle of the Domain, the Lone Star Court transported me to a lodge in the hills once I walked through the gate. The staff was exceptional and Whiskey, the hotel chocolate lab, just made it all the more special. I will be back! There was no better way to wind down after a hectic day looking at one of the multiple fire pits listening to blues country from the cafe...”
