“Upon arriving at the hotel, the lady at reception handed me my room after making several phone calls. Check-in was slow, and when I entered the room, the air conditioning wasn't working. I refused to take it, and the receptionist told me it was a general problem with AC throughout the hotel. However, after I insisted on not taking the room, she made another call and then agreed to change it to another one that was very good with working air conditioning. The room was truly perfect, and the hotel in general was good and clean. The location was near to ankara Castle, very quiet, although it was situated on a hill. The breakfast was also very good. The money paid worthwhile. ”

“The hotel itself is exquisite and built in an old Han. Has a historical feel and beautifully renovated. It is part of the Koc Museum and you can enter free as a patron of the hotel. I would recommend the hotel for the sheer beauty. However, I had internet issues in my room the whole time and they tried to fix this daily. The other thing was I was staying 2 nights but on the 2nd night an engagement party was set up in the entrance so one could not enjoy the facilities but was not told that this was happening. For a Divan Hotel this was disappointing not to be able to use the facilities and unable to use the whole hotel on my last night. Despite this I would recommend to stay as it is a beautiful place. I would also check if there will be events booked so you don't miss out on the facilities.”
