The hotel itself is exquisite and built in an old Han. Has a historical feel and beautifully renovated. It is part of the Koc Museum and you can enter free as a patron of the hotel. I would recommend the hotel for the sheer beauty. However, I had internet issues in my room the whole time and they tried to fix this daily. The other thing was I was staying 2 nights but on the 2nd night an engagement party was set up in the entrance so one could not enjoy the facilities but was not told that this was happening. For a Divan Hotel this was disappointing not to be able to use the facilities and unable to use the whole hotel on my last night. Despite this I would recommend to stay as it is a beautiful place. I would also check if there will be events booked so you don't miss out on the facilities.

Stayed with family during Eid holiday. The hotel is soooo GREAT from all the hotels I stayed in Turkey. The building is very unique, clean, complete facilities, fragrant, comfortable, large rooms. The location is perfect, right in front of the gate of Ankara Castle. Around it there are many restaurants and shops selling souvenirs. As a guest, you get free access to the Rahmi M.Koc Museum. The staff is amazing, they are very friendly and professional, especially thanks to Mr. Rauf Barut for the extraordinary service during our family's stay.

The hotel is situated in an old ‘han’ courtyard type building which used to be a place for silk road merchants to stay a few hundred years ago. We booked superior king room. The room is big enough with a very nice bathroom ( with separate shower and bathtub) , downside is that the bed is small, i think is only about 4.5 fts in width , looked smaller than my own 5 fts bed at home, makes me wonder why the room is called superior king room. I would hv booked a room with larger bed if the bed size is shown on agoda , because husband and I were sleeping with our baby on the same bed and it felt really tight for the 3 of us. The hotel is right outside the ankara castle town so there were many tourists and school tours early in the morning . Hotel rooms are on 1/F , so cannot open the curtain in morning if you dont want tourists to look into your room. Other than this everything is fantastic for the hotel, the lobby, the breakfast( set breakfast not buffet), the interior design, the location, the staff, etc.

Oui le Divan est très bien localisé, les chambres sont belles mais la rénovation a retiré l’âme de cet endroit.
