“We loved our stay at Boutique Hotel von Graf. Our room #1 was superb, roomy, charming and lovely. The restaurant is excellent. We had two meals there and they served the best Romanian food we have had this trip. The staff was helpful, fabulous, kind, thoughtful and friendly. The local liquers they offer were quite tasty. My recommendation is book the hotel and there is no need to venture out for meals. Lunch and dinner were excellent. We had to leave for an early train so missed breakfast but the staff were so kind and packed us a substantial food package for breakfast. They are so considerate! My wife and I give Boutique Hotel von Graf 10 out of 5 stars!!”

“It's in the center of the citadel; very atmospheric; and staff's attitude is excellant. However, I didnt like that the hotel website doesnt mention the fact that cars are not admitted to the citadel. I was surprised that I had to leave the car at the botyom of an 8 minutes climb by foot to arrive at the hotel. Also, the room was inconvenient. The bed was on a loft platform reached by a long ladder. The AC was VERY weak; upon my reqiest they brought me a portable fan.”

“From the moment I entered the hotel, I sensed the depth of the place's history; it was truly one of the most beautiful spots I have encountered in my travels around the world. The hotel features unique details that evoke a bygone era of Romanian history—a fact often overlooked is that the property is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The hotel manager is a wonderful woman; I was traveling with a male friend, and although we had unfortunately booked a double bed, she managed to switch us to a twin room after we explained the situation. I also cannot forget one of the hotel's finest staff members—the driver who parked my car in the lot beneath the citadel where the hotel is located. He truly embodied the noble character of Romanian men by helping us through a critical, urgent situation we faced right after leaving Sighișoara. It is truly a dream-like place to stay, and I look forward to returning one day.”
