“We loved our stay at Boutique Hotel von Graf. Our room #1 was superb, roomy, charming and lovely. The restaurant is excellent. We had two meals there and they served the best Romanian food we have had this trip. The staff was helpful, fabulous, kind, thoughtful and friendly. The local liquers they offer were quite tasty. My recommendation is book the hotel and there is no need to venture out for meals. Lunch and dinner were excellent. We had to leave for an early train so missed breakfast but the staff were so kind and packed us a substantial food package for breakfast. They are so considerate! My wife and I give Boutique Hotel von Graf 10 out of 5 stars!!”

“The hotel itself is fine. However the staff is mostly unfriendly and they will try to nickel and dime you for everything. For example, I was told at check in that the breakfast was included and later upon checkout, was asked to pay for each day I stayed at the hotel. This feels very deceptive and like they are trying to take advantage of tourists. Additionally, I stopped by the front desk a few times and tried to ask questions about the city and the country and they seemed confused that I was asking questions. Very weird for people working in the hospitality industry. The only exception was the woman who worked in the spa and did the massages. She was exceptionally friendly and was great at her job. The rest of the staff should learn from her. ”
