“Very good price compared to other hotels. The facility was kept well-maintained, and the pool and terrace were beautiful, even though i couldn't use them because of the rain. My room was on the third floor, probably because it number of ants invaded the bathroom. (they weren't there at the time of check-in. I don't know why it happened.) It takes about 30 minutes to get to Funchal by Express bus, and the location is good, close to the bus st was delicious with a wide variety of breads and fruits.”

“The location is great in Santa Cruz, there's a post office, car rental, bakery, a few restaurants, and the beach within 2 minute walk (1 block away). The only 'negative' is it's about 20 minute drive from Funchal, so keep that in mind if you foresee having to go to the capital. Most likely if you are sightseeing you'll need a car rental so this is not a big deal. ”
