“The hotel is palatial and full of history. Our room was quite small and without a view and little natural light, but well appointed and with a comfortable bed and nice but small bathroom with an excellent bathtub. There are many beautiful public areas, however. Grand rooms, a cloister, a terrace with a loggia and a view, parterre gardens, and a large contemporary pool with a panoramic view and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The complimentary breakfast is enormous, a buffet with tables laden with a wide variety of offerings and even champagne. All to be enjoyed in a beautiful large historic dining room. The Guimaraes historic center, castle, and palace are only six minutes drive. Our room was exceptionally quiet and the entire grounds are peaceful and serene. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. ”

“Good hotel only 10mins easy walk to the beautiful centre with restaurants & bars. Classic Portuguese village/ city & good for a nice evening.”

“Would be nice to have hot water coffee and tea either in the room or for self service in lounge - being a 4 star hotel ”

“4pm check in, very late compared with others. Wanted extra €20 although both rooms were ready. Also, Agoda sent me messages stating 3pm check in!”

Precio - calidad excelente.”

“Adorei a experiência!
