“Nice campsite, good facilities. Worked very well for me and the staff are very helpful. The only drawback for a cyclist / hiker is the distance to the nearest “town” where nothing is really happening and took 5 tries for somewhere to get lunch. ”

“I had the best stay at Hostel 402. The host was an amazing and kind person. The location was great overlooking the Marina. And the house garden was beautiful and reminded me of a lovely family home. It was a couple of minutes walk to the main beach and the carnival places, Fort etc. Very handy to lovely sea view restaurants and the terrace. The train and bus station was just over 10 minutes but one straight road which meant I saved the taxi costs as I could walk to the nearest bus and train station. The grocery shop was near the train station but I only needed to use it once. The house has good kitchen well equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups etc etc. Having fridge and freezer etc meant I could cook and store food. I meant some really amazing and cool people during my stay. Some were long term guests and others staying for few weeks. They were all lovely and friendly. Couldn't think of it like a hostel as it was more like staying with extended family members. Will visit again for sure with family next time. ”
