“Comfortable room, friendly staff, convenient location. It’s right along the Camino. Walking distance to a beautiful old cathedral and historical old town. No lift. Breakfast is simple but enough to power through a whole day of walking for a peregrine. Barcelos is a beautiful town and so glad we spent two nights here for our rest days and Top’Otel was a great choice. ”

“Good thing is that they had a pool and quiet cottage vibes. But the cleanliness can be improved as there were dust, cobwebs, and 3 giant spiders in our room. Dinner was also overpriced, charged at 40euros. If you wanted to cook your own meals at their kitchen, they also charge you 25euros to use the kitchen alone. As pilgrims, we decided to have sleep for dinner instead as there were no food options in town and the location was also off path from the camino Owner was also not very friendly ”

“Great stay for a short night during my Camino pilgrimage. Shared room but the owner separated men from women and the entire place was very clean and nice. I needed a wine opener and the owner personally brought down a brand new one still in the package! Great stay. ”
