“A room arranged on the 3rd floor was a nightmare to us as we are in our 60s & 70s. The host commented I ought to have called to enquire about the room arrangements. The small room was beautiful but there were plenty of things in there, 6 cushions/pillows, 6 towels. No shelf or closet for the not needed cushions/pillows while sleeping. Only a tall railing with 4 hangers provided. No available socket near where the kettle and the coffee machine were. Two available sockets were around 8-10 inches above the ground on other walls which means the coffee machine or kettle need to be put on the floor if you use them. On one side of the bed there was an electric socket and a small shelf that was big enough to put a cup and a phone at the same time. Two USB chargers and a small bed side table was on the other side of the bed so the charging of phones/iPad was easy. Everything looks good and contemporary. Breakfast opposite was not the best but table with the river view was excellent. Cleaners knocked on the door at around 3pm on the 2nd day while we were having a nap after all morning out. I didn’t put the do not disturb tag as I thought no cleaning service would be provided as they were usually finished before 2-3pm. Cleaner knocked on the door at 10am on the last day and wanted to come in to clean. Not the best experience I have ever had. Wish I had booked the room on the first floor.”
