“이곳은 마을에서 꽤 멀리 떨어져 있고, 특히 스쿠터나 배기량이 작은 오토바이를 이용하는 경우, 마지막 진입로는 길이 험하고 운전하기 어렵습니다. 막다른 길의 끝자락에 위치해 있습니다. 외진 곳에 있지만, 일단 도착하면 바람에 흔들리는 나무 소리와 새소리 외에는 아무 소리도 들리지 않는 아름다운 장소가 펼쳐집니다. 자연적으로 시원해서 에어컨이나 선풍기가 필요 없습니다. 동물과 자연에 둘러싸인 이곳은 진정으로 아름답고 평화로운 휴식처입니다.”

“We got stranded in Cebu because of the storm, and our stay here was already fully paid. I contacted the owner to ask if it was possible to move our booking since sayang naman ang bayad, especially because we might be stranded for two days. We originally booked for 4 nights and were even planning to extend for one more night (to be paid in person). The owner was incredibly kind and understanding. They told us it was fine and even offered the 5th night for free since we couldn’t make it on the first day. That gesture was such a big help, especially during a very stressful time—no ferries, stranded in Cebu, and a lot of uncertainty. When we finally arrived at the property, there was already a kind person waiting for us, and the place was clean and welcoming. We had a small issue with one of the locks, and they responded immediately and came by to fix it right away. I truly hope that when I visit Siquijor again, this place will still remain affordable. This was the first time I traveled where I genuinely felt like I was home. Highly recommended 💛”

“Hi! We only had a very short stay because we needed to catch the first boat ride in the morning, but this place is highly recommendable! We mostly spent our stay resting because we were already exhausted from a long and troublesome day of queuing, and unfortunately, we ended up missing the remaining RORO schedules. Thankfully, staying here helped us forget all the stress because we were able to rest comfortably. The place is quiet but feels safe. The room is very aesthetic, cozy, and relaxing. I especially loved that they provided a heater, mugs, spoons, and other little things that made our stay more convenient. Although the place is located uphill, it is easy to find using Google Maps, and it only takes around 10–15 minutes to get to the port. The caretakers were also very kind and accommodating. They allowed us to stay in the room even though our booking through Agoda had not yet been confirmed by the owner. We booked shortly before arriving, so we really appreciated their understanding and hospitality. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at Siquijor Room. I really loved the cozy atmosphere. As a small suggestion, it might be nice to have a few books or board games available for guests to enjoy inside the room. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing stay!
