하위 호수에 위치한 더 캠프 - 레이크 하위의 경우 하위 호수에서 아주 가까우며 차로 2분 거리에 피터 프레이저 공원 등이 있습니다. 이 해변 홀리데이 파크에서 와나카 호수까지는 11.5km 떨어져 있으며, 13km 거리에는 아이언 산 전망대도 있습니다.
“A stunning place in the world if you're looking for a lake with magnificent scenery this is one of the best you'll see anywhere.
However unfortunately I found the facilities rather draconian too small and not particularly clean.
I came to this park 25 years ago, I think I used the same frying pan.
There are a lot more people sadly, like everywhere in the world, over population has decreased the enjoyment of areas like this.
However, where I stayed, " the lake side cabin" away from all of the campervans and the majority of people was delightful it's very small but it's all you need there is a kettle in there, they could do with a toaster 👌then I wouldn't have had to go into that kitchen with wall to wall people trying to move in and around each other to get to whatever they needed and you definitely need to bring your own cutlery as there isn't any in the kitchen nor is there any plates you might be lucky to find an old saucepan that's about it.”
