“Room was better than alternatives, nice kitchen, nice beds. It had a different layout with going through the 2nd bedroom to use the bathroom, we made it work though, pictures of spa pool need to be taken down as this is not available anymore. Still a great stay ”

“Myself, my husband and toddler stayed at the Ascot in one of the motel suites for one night while travelling. It was a comfortable size, the beds were comfy, and it was a nice bonus having a bath to us, and milk in the fridge and Moccona coffee sachets. We ordered room service as well, which was fun. The food was delivered on a golf cart straight from the nearby restaurant, and was fresh and tasty too! There was a $5 fee for this, which I felt was fair. ”

“We felt like having dessert so went to the bar/reasturant near the main lobby. It was freezing cold and the service was not much better. We waited well over 1/2 hour for our desserts which were clearly pre made so we couldn't understand the wait. Will not dine down there again....perhaps other areas of the hotel are better? Strange glass wall in the bathroom and quite a noisy hotel with noise traveling through from other levels during the night. Clean and tidy with good water pressure in shower though. Next time we stay we will probably also park our car on the street rather than pay $20 for overnight valet parking.”

“Room and bathroom was amazing with such water pressure like you cant believe. The double bed was terrible with roll together so we had to sleep in separate beds. The street noise was also really loudly heard and both of us did not get much if any sleep. Really like the space but steps would not be good for anyone elderly in the unit itself. Please look at updating the mattress.”

“Simple and easy accommodation. Check in was a breeze. The provided heater didn't quite do the trick but each bed had an electric blanket which helped. Provided Internet was good although the tv kept disconnecting. The couch in the property is falling apart and left slivers of black material on my kids and the floor. It's a stones throw away from the supermarket which made cooking home meals easy. ”

“Could only recommend if you are in urgent need of a place to stay for a short period of time. The property should have mentioned in the booking that the front desk is CLOSED around 10/11am to 2PM and will not entertain guests for check in. The guy at the cafe is rude, and unaccommodating. Corridors could be smelly esp if there is a bunch of backpackers that checked in - they put their SMELLY, DAMP shoes and socks outside of their rooms by the hallway over the night! Walls are as thin as paper where one can hear noise from the other rooms. Flooring needs to be changed - some portions have irritatingly squeaky noises when stepped on. While their kitchen has most of the stuff needed, I find the fridge quite disorganized - first time I came across a hostel/lodge that did not provide bins to organize every guests’ space in the fridge. No labels and pens provided so one can label their food/bag - good thing I brought my own pen for labelling. There are only a few spoons and forks provided as well. In terms of bathroom and toilet, so far they are clean and well maintained most of the time . However, I find it weird that shampoo and body soap is not provided in the bathroom. I am satisfied with their location - close to the central mall, Pak N Save, shops and cafes, Church and farmers/weekend market.”
