“Pros: Hotel set in lovely garden with nice pool (although water very hot as Sri Lanka temperatures are very high). Basic clean room with kettle. Early check in which was very kind. Staff also provided me with breakfast the night before as I was leaving and were very kind overall. Cons: no hot water and toilet didn't flush for a while but I found those a reoccurring issue at many hotels in Sri Lanka, can't walk to any restaurants, I never eat hotel food as I find it very overpriced in Sri lanka. A few km from ticket office to see the ruins- this was really hard to find with limited signage, would be great to show tourists this upon arrival.”
