“This hotel had the best views from all of our hotels of 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Our lovely butler Prabath was very attentive and hard working. Our pool villa was beautiful and cozy. It was private at the quiet time we were there, but the pool would be overlooked by upstairs and neighbouring villas during busy times. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a good variety of tasty meals. Chamila is an excellent masseuse in the day spa. Prices in the restaurant and spa are resort prices.”

“Joe's Resort was our first stop in Sri Lanka, and it turned out to be the perfect place to unwind after our journey. The breathtaking ocean view from our room was the highlight of our stay—waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sea from the balcony was truly mesmerizing. Since we were travelling with a young child, we wanted a relaxed start to our vacation, and this property was ideal. The swimming pool overlooking the beach was beautiful and incredibly peaceful. We spent most of our time there, and it became our favourite part of the resort. We stayed for two nights, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety, including Indian dishes as well as other options. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. Considering the location, views, and overall experience, this is a budget-friendly hotel that offers great value for money. The only drawback was that the rooms do not have an internal phone to contact the reception or kitchen. Whenever we needed anything, we had to walk to the reception personally, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Joe's Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront hotel with amazing views without spending a fortune.”
