“Located on the main road, about a mile from the ferry jetty. No direct lake access, which some people might want, but didn't bother us. We received a warm and friendly welcome, the room boy was smiley and attentive. The owner was very helpful too. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean. Good quality bedding and big fluffy bath towels provided. Lots of small shops and stalls close by selling essentials. Local buses pass the door, plenty of tuk tuks available too, but be prepared to bargain hard!”

“The resort is located by the Vembanad lake - one of the best slots in the city. The parking is seperated by a stream mandating you to be ferried to the resort on a boat. As you set foot off the boat, you are welcomed by the wonderful sight of the lake. The infinity pool was the highlight of our stay here. Rooms are average and flies/ mosquitos outside a bit of a nuisance preventing guests from spending more time out in the open. Delicious local food and hospitality however makes up for it! All in all, a good spot for a couple of days' stay.”

“Reservation: I had made my reservation through Agoda. Things started off on the wrong foot - I got the feeling that the room that was initially allotted to me was not the room that I had booked. When I brought this to the attention of the Front Desk Manager (Mr. Piyush Pushpan), he, very kindly, agreed to upgrade me to a much larger room closer to the lake (the floor area of this room was close to the room that I had booked i.e. 40 sq. m). I would like to commend Mr. Pushpan for smoothly sorting out the matter instead of arguing with guests (as could happen in other hotels). He wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our first visit to Kumarakom. Very impressed with his attitude. Note to Agoda: Please ensure that the description/ photos of the rooms you advertise match the offering from the hotel. Room: Quite a large room with a double and large sofa with an attached front room looking out onto the lakefront; both the rooms were air-conditioned (an absolute must considering the high humidity in the area). The bathroom was spotless and was quite big. The front room with two large reclining chairs was a bonus. The swimming pool was just 10 metres away from our room. Restaurant: The food was very good. In the evening, when the restaurant was packed, the service was a bit slow. The breakfast spread had lots of options. Property: Very well kept property - clean and neat. The rather large and main lobby is separate from most of the rooms. Staff: Very helpful and kind. Parking: Ample parking is available. ”
