“Vedic Village is a small cute well maintained property. Dont go as oer google maps as the location it shows is a dead end. Check with the locals for proper direction. Facilities wise only a small 4 feet deep pool is there. There is nothing else for the kids to do. The major drawback is the crazy amount of mosquitos. The staff does fumigation but it doesn't help. My room was full of mosquitoes. The staff is mostly from north east and very slow in understanding any instructions. They are very courteous but also all services is slow . Good for a short one day stay. ”

“I booked this property through Agoda for 4 members of my family as we were in Kodungallur to visit the Devi temple. During check-in, the staff informed me that they received the booking for one member only. They also informed that this happened frequently for guests who book through Agoda. I wanted to discuss this with their manager and the staff informed that he is on a shift break and will not take the call now. They also informed that ***who is the group cluster channel manager for the Park Residency group has instructed them not to share his contact number with the guests and those who book through Agoda needs to sort out all the booking related issues through Agoda only and they were not concerned about the situation of the guests! This is not hospitality as I am also a hospitality professional. This attitude is after receiving the payment upfront! I am sure that OTAs like Agoda pays the agreed room rent to the hotels though they receive it in advance while the guests pay during the booking. I have specifically mentioned the staff name as he refused to speak to me while the FO staff tried to connect. I paid additional amount for the members and checked in as it was evening hours and We were driving for about 4 hours. Room was clean , housekeeper was good and helpful. But the room is good enough to occupy only 2 person comfortably. The attitude of the management staff was / arrogant as I understood from the approach of the front desk staff and this will surely impact the business in the long run. ”

“The hotel is still not fully functional inspite of operational for last one year. There is no hot water for bath as Solar system is down. The intercom not working. Even though the food was good, the communication with the customer is poor as breakfast was complimentary (no buffet as no. of persons staying were only us. There are only 12 rooms in total). First day they never asked us about breakfast requirement. As we reached the restaurant then they informed only plain dosa and eggs are available.”
