Vedic Village is a small cute well maintained property. Dont go as oer google maps as the location it shows is a dead end. Check with the locals for proper direction. Facilities wise only a small 4 feet deep pool is there. There is nothing else for the kids to do. The major drawback is the crazy amount of mosquitos. The staff does fumigation but it doesn't help. My room was full of mosquitoes. The staff is mostly from north east and very slow in understanding any instructions. They are very courteous but also all services is slow . Good for a short one day stay.

This is a nice resort situated a little but not too far away from the regular sounds of traffic and life. We were eight of us (5 adults and 3 kids) in three lake facing rooms. Three stars for value for money. While the rooms themselves were not particularly expensive, it felt like food was an bit overpriced. Four stars for the location since one can still see a bridge with traffic plying on it from a distance - a bit of an eye sore. Else, the location is nice. On cleanliness, my only concern was the restaurant. The table mats had fresh food and oil stains two of the three times we ate there. I had to ask for the mats to be changed. Otherwise, I think overall the staff does a fairly good job at keeping the resort and rooms clean. The staff was very helpful as one would expect from a good resort that cares about the experience of their guests. Four starts for the facilities because of the pool.. the kids had a blast.. Otherwise, no extra facilities that I can think of. The room has all the regular stuff provided for. The bathrooms were really nice with an open sky option in the bath area. Outside seating was available. A hammock or two. Couple of things that irked me - at check-in, the rooms were not ready even though we arrived 1.5 hours after the check-in time; Then at checkout, the staff asked for a box of crayons that they had given to the kids to colour with. It is a really small thing, but the kids felt bad. I just don’t think that once you gift something to a kid, you don’t ask for it back. Anyway, overall the resort is nice for a quick get away, and I would recommend it.

The stay was excellent. We had booked a river-view room, which offered one of the best views we’ve ever experienced. The staff were courteous and always served us with a smile. Everyone at the resort carried a positive and welcoming attitude, which enhanced our overall experience. The rooms were neat and tidy, and the same level of cleanliness was maintained throughout the resort. The staff have done an excellent job of keeping the property well-maintained and are very conscious about hygiene. It appears the resort has been recently renovated, which adds to its charm. While the menu is on the pricier side, the generous portions make up for it. However, a few items listed on the menu were unavailable as they are only prepared if there are sufficient orders for them. The property is small but perfect for those seeking a calm and peaceful environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
