“My wife and I booked this place for our honeymoon trip; we stayed over 1 night at room 602. We landed in Lombok at 7:30pm and reached the hotel around 10pm. The room itself was good and nice; I even requested a surprise for my wife to have the room decorated with a honeymoon theme, which the staff delivered exceptionally with a reasonable surcharge. I have no complaints about the room at all. It was cozy, clean, and nice. No complaints on the staff either, as they were all very helpful and super friendly. The hotel sits alone within a cove at Senggigi, which means privacy at its best. The view from the room looking out at the sea is just breathtaking. to say the least. The only downside to this resort would be its overall building maintenance. The building from the outside looks old, with areas at the rooftop that look quite badly damaged (this can be seen from the pool area). The resort has 2 blocks, with 1 block completely closed; it looks abandoned and deserted rather than being renovated. Another downside is the minimal option for breakfast, which was kind of sad as we only had 2 options to choose from, which were either the American breakfast or the local nasi/noodle goreng (it's a set choice, meaning both of us will get the same thing; we wanted to try 1 American breakfast and 1 local menu but were not able to since it's a set order for the room). The toasted bread was more like a hardened biscuit. The other downside was that smoking was allowed in the indoor section of the breakfast area, which took us by surprise. An elderly couple was just smoking away nearby where we were seated. We, along with another family, had to move away to another table just to avoid being secondhand smokers. The waiter boy who was serving us looked quite young and timid, as though he was working there part-time during his semester break, which I believe he would have just been treated badly by the smoker if the boy would to tell him off. The only facility we saw was just the pool which was looked nice to hang in during the afternoon heat.”

“We booked a private pool villa. Room is very spacious but it is not as clean. Room is not well maintained. Good thing is at least the warm shower is working. Aircon compressor is not strong enough, taking forever to cool the room. Hot water from the dispenser is not working. Bed and pillow is not comfortable. The worst is there is a power trip at 5.30am which woke everyone up. Looking at the circuit breaker, the problem is with the external power source. The staff help to get the power back at 6am. There are a lot of other hotels along the stretch, recommend to stay elsewhere.”

“I had an amazing stay at Seven Secrets by Hanging Gardens, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautifully designed landscape that feels serene, lush, and perfectly integrated with nature. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful: cleaned daily, crystal clear blue water, and perfect for swimming. I love that they provide complimentary kayak, canoe, paddle board, and snorkeling gear, so there’s always something to enjoy. The sun-beds are very comfortable, and the service is exceptional! They cover the beds with towels and even remake them when you step away. You can also have breakfast right on the sunbed, which is such a nice touch. Food was consistently delicious and high quality throughout our stay. The room was spacious with complete amenities, a private jacuzzi, and daily turndown service. We also received a 15-minute welcome massage, which was a great start to the experience. What truly stood out was the staff. I only mentioned my name and my husband’s once, yet everyone remembered us for the entire stay. They are genuinely friendly, caring, and very proactive. The farewell was especially heartwarming. They gave me chocolates for the nearly 2-hour drive to the airport, and several staff members personally came to send us off at the lobby. Highly recommended—I will definitely come back! ”
