“Super inconvenient location, need to drive about 5km in from the last convenience stall. But the view was great, minus the smoking from the local drivers. Resort restaurant did not overcharge because they were the only place we could get food. 200k for 1h full body massage was great. We stayed for 3 nights, a bit too long. Because we realised the chef changed and the taste of the vegetarian curry was not as good as the first night when I ordered again on the 3rd night. ”

“Staff who welcomed me were very friendly and Kadek was very attentive. Often checking if I needed anything before she had to run an errand. I stayed five nights and was surprised not to receive room service each day. Not that I needed it but I had to ask on day 3 if it was included. The handwash was very diluted. The view was stunning. Due to the ceremonies and family emergencies, I wasn’t able to easily eat meals at the accommodation. I found a lovely restaurant down the street to have lunch and dinner. It was about 15 minute walk to supermarket to buy fruit. I wasn’t brave enough to hire scooter with all those hills and the rain. Comfortable bed. Good little desk to sit and work from. Balcony nice place to chill out.”

“We stayed delightful 2 nights at Candra Cottage. Traveling with our dog, we honestly weren't sure what to expect, but pleasant surprises abound! First off, the couple that run the place - Agus and Priscilla - treated us in the best Balinese traditions of hospitality. Even our dog was welcomed warmly! Needless to say (as you can see from the photos on this site), the view was picture-perfect.... lush rice terraces, rolling hills, and even something of a sea view off in the distance to the west. The weather was a cool and refreshing change from the sweltering heat of Sanur where we had come from. There's no a whole lot of F&B nearby, so its a good thing that Agus and Priscilla cook up a basic, but very solid menu that kept us (and our furry one) happily fed during our stay. If you're looking for a homestay style getaway, Candra Cottage ticks all the right boxes and more. Our room was the best in the house, with a majestic view, comfy king bed and generously sized room, porch and bathroom. Oh... and WIFI there was amazing too! Yes, we loved our time at Candra Cottage indeed :-)”

“We had such an incredible stay at Bali de Paradis Cottage. Honestly, one of the best views we’ve ever had, you’re literally right in the middle of the rice fields. If you love nature and peaceful surroundings, this place is for you. The view alone feels like a 10 million dollar experience. It’s beautiful, and just unreal to wake up to. The food was also amazing, and the staff made everything even better, so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our cabin was clean. Amazing balcony to sit and watch the view. Love the pool surrounded by the rice field. They have mosquito net for sleeping, which made the nights super comfortable. We would definitely come back, no hesitation!”
