“My booking was made last minute, a beautiful place to arrive, the cottages are set in lush tropical gardens, and very well maintained, overlooking the mountainous tropical rainforest. My cottage no.11 had a great central view over the rice terraces and panoramic landscape. The traditional wooden cottages are on 2 levels, stairs lead up to a beautiful wooden bedroom leading out onto a balcony where you can enjoy the magnificent view. Stroll through the beautifully maintained gardens to a sunset point where you can enjoy a cocktail or avail of a spa treatment, I had a balinese massage, body scrub and flower bath - it was a super treat after a days trekking in the rainforest. Breakfast was served daily offering plenty of choice and lovely fresh juices. Mie Goreng was super tasty. The dinner menu offered a good choice also, the pizza was very good. Highly recommend this quaint beautiful place, very welcoming and it was also lovely to speak with lady who owned the property. Lastly, just a little fact! “The first time was better in every way and the room set up. But the property itself has always been well designed and thought off. The second stay I realized the staff did not even know where to put towels and a few other things. The reception was not prepping things well so every step was painfully slow. However, the staff at the Ulekan restaurant was efficient and delightful. ”
