“I would recommend Dove Meadow B&B. John is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely to chat to - wish we'd had more time to talk. Breakfast was delicious using locally sourced ingredients. Our twin room was clean and stocked with tea, coffee, milk and juice. Adjoining bathroom was clean and lovely fluffy towels. Perfectly situated for a stay if visiting Alton Towers which was an 8 minute drive. The heating was on whilst we were there, a lovely place to stay.”

“We arrived around 7pm and David was there to welcome us. Showed us our room and we then went to pick up some food. I bought Chinese and ate it in the breakfast room while my son investigated the room. It was lovely with an en-suite, really clean with everything we would need. My son went o ask for more water which David & Rebecca gave us without a problem. Breakfast was lovely, full English with coffee & orange juice. It was a lovely peaceful area, 18mins to Alton Towers which was so handy. I never said goodbye as they were both busy which was a shame as both David & Rebecca were fantastic hosts! “Agoda scammed me by booking twice And taking money out twice and are now not refunding me. Customer service team have been awful and unhelpful. Premier inn staff have been great but i wish i booked directly with them instead. Avoid the headache dont use an agent just book directly!!!”
