“Excellent hotel with modern decor and facilities including pool and a spa ( extra fee). I thought it was ridiculous that they charged me £15 extra for twin beds( instead of a double ) and would like to hear how that is justified. Never seen that before. Beautiful location on the riverside.”

“Fantastic location ideal doe a weekend break had everything we needed and more. Very friendly staff and stunning views of the lake . Pool and spa are added bonus Breakfast was great and ample. As full silver service was a treat . Rooms were much bigger with comfy beds we didn't get a double bed so that was a little uncomfortable however the rest was 5 star . Would definitely fo their again. ”

“Great hotel staff and manager very friendly will go out of thier way to help , lovely food, rooms clean toilitries and hairdryer added little bonus some rooms need a littke updating however this doesn't spoil the hotel , ideal location, 5 minutes away from.lakeside where you can hop on a boat to bowness, ambleside, 10mins drive to Cartmel lovely little place , haverthwaite railway 5 minutes away , or visit town of ulverston. Stayed here few times would definitely re visit ”
