“The first night we couldn’t sleep due to being in one of the rooms on the ground floor. Every time people above us moved it sounded like they were could to come through the ceiling it was so loud. We spoke to reception and got moved to the best room in the building, top corner with incredible views. That was perfect. I would stay in the top corner room again but for the noise, I can’t recommend the lower floor. ”

“Loved our stay at the Royal Hotel. The restaurant served amazing food and the staff were amazing. The bar was great. The mattresses need an upgrade!! A bit uncomfortable-mattresses are very thin. The bathroom was comfortable but noticed a lot of mold on the ceiling. I would stay here again for sure. Great location - great staff. ”

“Been in bar many,times. For their live music, and very tasty fish n chips. 1st time, I have stayed. Very clean. Shout out to Gordon, who checked me in, and to Hugh, at breakfast time. 2 top blokes. Only change I would make is to put more powerful led bulb in bathroom. Will return.”

“I travel to Ullapool quite frequently. But, this first time I have stayed here. Room 14 has lovely views down Lock Broom. Comfy bed, ample room, huge bathroom. Hot tap, and shower needs to be run, as sign in room said.mits furthest from the water tank. Not an issue. Just turn the shower and finish your tea or coffee. Had a meal on first night, burger, which I couldn’t fault. Live music from local artists, was a standout. Oh the temperature can be adjusted in the room. Narrow stairs to 2nd floor. When I return here, I will ask for this room.”
