“My husband and I have been coming here for probably the last ten years or so. This last weekend was probably the busiest it's ever been in the pool, I was surprised to see so many children in the pool as had never experienced that before, not a fan to be honest. People were very selfish and staying in the hot tub for long periods of time which I didn't like. We had a meal in the bar area and was gobsmacked at the price charged for a medium glass of wine, £9.50 is just ridiculously expensive and more like London prices. Not sure I would be in a hurry to come here again. I suppose I've had a good run, time to move on.”

“We were sad that it is not a conventional hotel with food or evening lounge or daily room cleaning. Staff superb and impressive environment with very warm bedroom. Tricky pubs to find at nights.”

“We stayed at The Buxted Hotel last year and enjoyed it so much that we decided to revisit again this year. We recently returned after staying for a couple of days. We can't express enough our thanks to the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. If you asked for something it was done! The room as usual was immaculate and lovely, comfy bed and pillows with tea/coffee and facilities. Toiletries in the bathroom. The French Maitre d' was helpful and charming...food delicious. If we tried to find fault...we couldn't. We would highly recommend a stay at The Buxted. I'm sure , will be as memorable as we found it. On both occasions, our Anniversary last year this time my husbands Birthday and both were acknowledged with a momento. Book it - you'll not be disappointed!”

“Nice position with a lovely little walk down a footpath behind the Inn. Saw 12 deer and a fellow fishing beside a small lake. Church opposite is interesting too. Rooms adequate but it was very hot and the fan provided was much appreciated.”
