“This was a perfect location for our visit to Teignmouth and Shaldon. The grounds were beautiful and so it's close to the sea front. The pool opened the day we left, so we didn't get to try it but it looked great. The breakfast was good and the lady working there was brilliant at making sure everyone had everything they wanted, nothing was too much trouble. (I think her name was Sophie) ”

“I’m so happy we’ve found this spot for future Shaldon visits. It was perfect for me, my boyfriend and my dog. You step out the gate and the beach is to your left, and the pub to your right — bliss! Shelley & Robert (I believe those are the owners’ names) were wonderful. They made us feel at home and took a genuine interest in what we were up to that weekend, which I thought was really lovely. A big bonus is the free on-site parking. The only thing to be mindful of is that the narrow Shaldon roads can make reversing out a bit tricky if you have a larger vehicle - that was definitely more of a “us” problem with our pick-up truck! There’s plenty of space in the car park itself, though, and we made it work. Breakfast was delicious, too. We’re already looking to book again in August (with a smaller car 😂) if we can.
