“The room was spotless, albeit a little tired. Plenty of room and beautiful large bay window. Bed linen and towels be was good quality. Mattress size was great but it was on two single bases with a gap between them so for two people who like a cuddle, this wouldn’t be ideal. (I was in a king deluxe). There’s no aircon and a fan is provided but did little to move the air about despite and open window. Breakfast was ok, continental a little sparse and the pastries looked sad, but the cooked breakfast offerings were great. Staffing seems sparse, but the place obviously functions well. At the end of the day this hotel and its team are doing their best to maintain a high standard whilst it awaits an update and refresh, which its location deserves. ”

“I made a last minute booking and couldn’t have been more happy with my choice. Lovely people and a lovely comfortable room at great value. Will definitely be back. Thankyou for the stay. ”
