“Shabby chic, warm professional welcome, good kitchen, bathroom that works, comfy bed and secondary glazing and earplugs in room overlooking main road, good tea and coffee in room. Front rooms overlook grounds of Wilton House. However, there's no lift and it has an interesting cantilevered internal stair arrangement to the rooms. I go to Salisbury regularly to visit a relative and this is the best hotel I've found with parking, near (not walkable but regular buses go from Wilton) the city. So many other Salisbury hotels seem to suffer from the over tourism that besieges the city in the summer and seem to need refurbishment. Recommended to those who can manage the stairs. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Greyhound Inn. Very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. ”

“We overnighted here on our way home from a family gathering. Was really lovely- first class facilities, really comfortable big bed, friendly staff as and a wonderful breakfast. The sausage bacon and eggs to die for ! Will stop again . ”

“Sara made delicious homemade baked items for breakfast and included fresh fruit salad as well as standard toast and croissant. There was choice of different teas, french press coffee and juice. Three different cereal choices, plus yoghurt or milk for cereal and dried fruit for granola. The only negative was the single lane road access. ”

“Fabulous location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Booked literally 10 minutes before arrival and they were already aware. Kitchen was due to close within 20 minutes and shown straight to the restaurant. Food was great and I am a butcher so appreciate good quality food when we find it. Room was spacious. Hotel was peaceful. Great service at the bar and range of drinks. Would happily return. Lovely walk across the fields into the centre of Salisbury ”

“Really welcoming and felt like a home from home experience (if my home was a lovely Manor House :))- relaxed and enjoyed the shared table breakfast experience and host conversations.”

“The Grosvenor Arms was warm, friendly and really professional. Dinner and breakfast was superb and the room and facilities excellent. Lots to explore nearby ”
