“I couldn’t believe it what a nice place to stay in Ramsgate it was. Absolutely wonderful stuff made my stay unforgettable, super accommodation with lovely garden , bookshop, small deli with fantastic little snacks. I definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go there again. Gabriela ”

“This hotel is quite cute and restaurant was fantastic. Unfortunately the room was tiny and looking like it needed a refresh. Cobwebs on the windows and a bit grubby in the corners. Bed was comfy and we slept well. Great location and free on street parking not too far away. Not bad but would not stay again. ”

“Stayed here while visiting relatives, Very polite host who greeted you and showed you how to gain entry out of hours. extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom nice and clean. We were up three flights of stairs but managed them fine. Only two coat hangers in the wardrobe though, asked for more but never materialised. On the whole nice place and would stay again.”

“Fri sat & sun the bar next door plays loud bom bom music until 4 am so don’t expect a good nights sleep. Hotel was clean & facilities ok. Lovely view over the harbour just a shame about the music until 4 am 🤬”

“If you're looking for a place to stay in the Ramsgate area then you can't go wrong with a visit to the San Clu. Rooms are clean and have all one would expect from a Boutique style hotel. The rooms are a little dated but the beds are comfortable. One thing to note is no sockets by the beds, so charging electrical devices need to be done on the desk/dresser. Food is lovely at the San Clu, a tad expensive but worth a sample if you're there, particularly the curries! The gym is limited like most hotels of its type but you have ample workout space. Parking is ample either in the rear or the street but be aware if you arrive on a "theatre night" you might have to park a few hundred metres away. It is a good location, 500 mtrs from Ramsgate and about 3.5km from Broadstairs.”
