“Stunning view, fantastic staff, very clean but lacked a few of the basics I would expect from a 4 star hotel with rooms priced at over £200 I.e dressing gown, slippers, more toiletries (1 mini of each is not enough for 2 people). Good choice at breakfast but the quality of food could be better. However, I would stay here again because of the views and awesome reception team 🙂”

“I needed a direct contact with the hotel to book another night. But I had to Google for the number, ask Agoda and you end up in India(?) Hotel staff were very helpful and the location is probably the best on the Dorset coast, highly recommended.”

“I was disappointed with some aspects of The Haven, stated as a 4 star hotel I had higher expectations given the price I had to pay per night (especially as a solo traveller). On the plus side the staff were all lovely, the room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the pool was fine although the sunbeds are a bit tired. For me the downside was that to take a shower I was waiting literally over 5 minutes for any sign of hot water. At one point I gave in had a chilly shower & was halfway through before the hot water came through. Overall my stay was fine but I found the price to be a bit on the steep side & I would probably not return ”

“Had a great stay. The room was lovely, top quality furnishings, great shower and air con and super clean. The staff were all smiling and friendly. Breakfast was really well done as was everything in the nice pub area. Would happily return.”

“We stayed at the rose and crown for the night as we had a ferry booked in Poole, the staff were excellent and very welcoming as were the locals the rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean had a great night sleep, what can I say about the food top notch compliments to the chef Marcus all went above and beyond to make our stay perfect they even did us a sausage butty as we were leaving before breakfast highly recommended. ”
