“Great hotel, especially with the pub combined. Full breakfast was delicious and food in the evenings great and reasonably priced. Only drawback was the lack of wifi in the room - although to their credit they got guys in to repair a couple of times - regrettably without success.”

“I spent 2 nights here, on my weekend in Nottingham. Kind of a last minute booking, so wasn't sure what type of stay this would be. Easy enough to find the location, and the key box. The room was very nice, with WiFi, TV and a small tea & coffee station. The bed was really good (I prefer a little harder mattresses, and this was perfect for my back). Bathroom on 1st floor was just next to my room, looked like it was mainly shared with the other rooms on this floor. A shared TV room, and shared kitchen (also washing machines here), each room had their allocated space inside the fridge. As the house didn't have any staff (although there's a service number if anything), I'd categorise it as more of a nice, small hostel. (I rated staff at 3, but how rate staff that isn't there...?) All in all, very good value for money -- the only negative is the garden, which looks like a big garbage dump. Make a nice garden, and you can probably increase the rates a little.
