“Hotel great for dogs especially if your going to Three Counties Showground. Food and service good first night we ate there. On the second night we had no service at the table at all and there were 4 staff behind the bar. A bit disappointed as we had to go to the bar to order the wine, then waited and drank a glass of wine still no one came to the table to make our order. In the end we had to order all our courses and get up to even ask for the bill.”

“The rooms are very clean. The bar area is ok. The food is ok. The location is quite peaceful there is planty of parking. It’s an easy way place to stay for a night passing through. ”

“We headed up to malvern for the weekend and had booked the Abbey as it looked lovely in the photos on the website and it stated it was dog friendly. Unfortunately we were unable to bring our dog as planned due to finding out that dogs are not permited in the bar or restaurant and had to stay in the bedroom at all times, which we were not prepared to do. We thought the room we were given was OK until I noticed large patches of, what looked like white, flakey mould. Which also smelt unpleasant. I do wonder why these patches have not been cleaned off as they are very visible. I feel we were given a sub standard room due to the hotel thinking we were bringing our dog. Apart from these 2 issues everything else was fine. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was enjoyable and the bar prices were reasonable. ”

“The Mount Pleasant Hotel is in such a great location. Our breakfast was just what we needed to start the day and the gentleman waiter serving us at breakfast was friendly and professional. We would like to spend more time in Malvern and would definitely look to stay here again.”
