“We were in Kendal for the Mountain Festival and needed accommodation. The H&H was only about 10 minutes away. We really liked the rural setting and the room was good with a fantastic bathroom with a brilliant rainfall shower. There was a cafetière in the room so a lot better than the instant you normally get. Breakfast was also great. On the last night we had a late dinner, I only had a burger but it was really good and my veggie girlfriend had an excellent goat cheese salad. People working there was very helpful and accommodating. So in conclusion, go there!”

“My sister and I stayed in family room for one night. Spotlessly clean, great shower,with lovely toiletries and soft towels. We both had a fantastic sleep, best in a long time. Room was quiet and good black out curtains. Would definitely recommend and will stay again. Great value for money.”

“Our room was spacious and clean, I liked the eco friendly multi purpose bar with sisal bag left for soap/ shampoo. Breakfast was good quality, although service was slow as there was only one member of staff available. The leisure facilities were quite modern and kept clean- the large back jet, which I was looking forward to was however out of commission and judging by the condition, has been for some time. We got a taxi into Kendal for the evening out as it is a good 20 minutes walk. A good selection of pubs and bars. ”
