“We were visiting for an organised event. Beautiful and interesting building. I think there maybe ongoing upgrades - the bright, fresh bathroom had no heating, though pipes in place for radiator. Really cold in the morning. Very comfy bed . As we were there for an event we had to eat breakfast in a conference type buffet - DIY shared tables set up. Not at all as enjoyable or relaxed as a previous visit to the main breakfast room. (EG the ever present ineffective toaster machine, and cold plates for hot breakfast) - disappointing.”

“A group of 4 booked 2 rooms, rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean, excellent shower. There was a mini bar in the fridge, and also a coffee machine, and a Dyson fan which was definitely needed. Perfectly located in the centre of Odiham. ”

“The whole place was tired looking and there was some black in the shower cubicle but the bed was new looking, super comfortable and the linen was crisp, clean cotton as were the towels. The breakfast was hit and miss with the continental offerings running out on the second day. For the price it was good. ”

“It is a great place, though pricey(£31 for 2 cups of tea and 2 pieces of cake)However they claimed we had booked a twin room which we had not, so there is something amiss with the booking agent as they had experienced this before. They quickly changed the bed configuration but we then realised we were on the second floor with 4 flights of stairs and no lifts at all. And I have had a new knee replacement recently so a total nightmare. They moved us to a coach house room which was bland with a small double bed and a shower in a bathtub which with new knee was really hard to climb in and out. Breakfasts super and staff lovely but it is vital to talk to them first to make sure they are really suitable for you. I would not stay again.”

“There was a complication with the booking. Agoda used the wrong email address and didn't convey I had a 1 year old and 6 year old. However the receptionist accommodated our needs very quickly. We were initially placed away from the main house in a small double room, when I called to say no additional bed. They asked me to return to the main house, where they gave me a king-size bed, bathroom ensuite and got an additional bed. The hot water takes a few minutes to come through but there was a sign to advise this. The toilet brush was stained, but otherwise it was clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were kind, helpful, polite and couldn't do enough. They advised fresh items to restock were on the way. The scrambled egg was cooked really well and there was a good range of items. For a last minute booking during Easter holidays it's good value and pleasant. It's not quite as pictured and there is no swimming pool, but ample free parking and in the summer nice grounds to walk. So I would stay here again.”
