“We stayed 3 nights between Christmas and New Years and were treated like royalty. We especially liked Ellie and Patrick, but found everyone in the hotel and restaurant to be lovely and fun. We had a room overlooking the river with a beautiful bathroom with heated marble floors. Absolutely the highlight of our trip so far!”

“A good place to stay with a great breakfast. Lovely grounds to walk around. Excellent gym and pool complex. It does have a slightly fuddy duddy feel about it as it’s a members club so much older clientele, however we enjoyed our stay. ”

“Pros: easy to find when driving out of Henley, sign is well lit. Large clean room. Heating worked (it was cold and wet despite being July!). No discernible noise from any other guests. Very nice breakfast - the avo & poached egg had some chilli flakes which were great - and the eggs weren't over cooked! Quick friendly service. Cons: be aware that while it's only a mile out of Henley, it's not walkable as no pavement in places on the road. The clubhouse stopped serving food at 8pm which was too early so had to go back into town.”

“Very good, clean, functional, very convenient for our location visited and our overnight stay. Only thing was no instructions for the coffee machine. Right in the middle of the town so while there was no breakfast , there were coffee shops and restaurants within 50mts. Would definitely use again. ”
