“ The man who run the pub was lovely,, their were lovely little refreshments in the room,, the pub had a lovely atmosphere,, it's such a surprise in Halstead,, I wouldn't think such a home from home pub would be there!! it was a bit pricey for a single room,, it's hard getting in& out of the town,, the buses aren't reliable,, though the pub had a lovely atmosphere,, I didn't get a good night sleep due to it being a bit loud..”

“Booked 2 rooms in order to stay the night after a wedding. The staff, Kaya (sorry if spelt incorrectly) and John where very polite and accommodating, as they had a room ready earlier than expected (family room). The other room was clean but had no wardrobe or hooks to hang your clothes/coat. ”
