“Very good ”

“Enjoyed my stay over, good hotel in a nice location. Only down side was check out is supposed to be 12pm. From 9.30 am I had what I can only assume was over zealous house keeping knocking on my door every 20 mins despite putting the do not disturb sign on. Ended up checking out at 11am”

“Very nice B&B in beautiful surroundings with very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was nice and well equipped. Breakfast was also nice and even offered a vegan option. For anyone travelling without a car, I would warn that despite what Google Maps says, it is not easily walkable from Glossop town as the road there is a country road. However we took taxis and these were readily available, took less than 10 mins drive, and about £5 each time so reasonable. Just something to bear in mind. The hotel itself is very nice.”

“Our room (no.2) was spacious, spotless, well-maintained and quiet. The en-suite shower room was clean with reliable hot water. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The characterful village pub downstairs served good draft beers. Breakfast was modest but more than sufficient, served in a neighbouring village pub by a very amiable cook.”
