“Beautiful rooms, staff lovely, was given homemade biscuits on arrival, would definitely go back and stay when have more spare time would have loved to try the meals but just didn't have time due to work commitments ”

“Warm welcome as late in the day. Single room booked, smelt musty which was disappointing but too tired to raise with staff. Bed comfortable but pillows too soft. Usual tea snd coffee and TV. Wifi totally useless in the room, frustrating when a late meeting to manage, worked fine in the rest of the hotel. Shower outdated, sprayed everywhere so needs an upgrade. Breakfast excellent, good car parking and nice building with character.”

“Cleanliness leaves a little to be desired. Found a sock under the chair and rubbish still in the bin when I first arrived. Staff are fantastic. Plenty of parking. Comfy rooms. I am staying for work so it’s ok for me to would be disappointed if I was here with the family. ”

“Stayed at hotel for 3 nights with our grandchildren. Kids eat for free which was great. Hotel in good location for Chester zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium also Cheshire Oaks shopping. Extremely pleasant staff that could not do enough for you. ”

“I spent an overnight stay here with my friend for a function , Jacksons Cat rescue 10th anniversary Ball. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we couldnt have asked for more. Attentive poilte welcome staff from reception on arrival, to the bar and restaurant staff making sure we were served quickly and efficiently, nothing too much trouble..fantastic service! Tge Craxton suite where our event was held was decorated beautifully with table candelabra and floral wreath decorations..bar staff attentive and polite..made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend craxton Wood. Spot on!”
