“The hotel is by no means central but is within walking distance of Durham and on a bus route to the city. It's very close to the A1M and a retail park. It has a gym and spa next door where one can also eat - we didn't use this facility but it sounds good. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed and controllable heating. It was clean and smart, with just a few minor things not working. Fine for 2 night stay. Parking was easy and the lift worked. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.”

“This is a privately owned and run b&b with lovely rooms and very attentive host. The rooms are good and the whole place is immaculately clean had a good night sleep and the breakfast was fab. Highly recommended this little gem.”
