“Only downside is the stairs as all the rooms are above the cafe and pub which is downstairs. On the upside, the staff were very very helpful to help us carry our luggage up and down during check in and check out. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was great”

“Comfortable clean room, staff very friendly. Good choice at breakfast. Would be helpful if it was pointed out that car park is at the rear, accessed from a road well past the pub, there is a small sign at the front but not very noticeable. ”

“Upon arriving we just felt like one of the regulars there. Everyone was very friendly and we weren't made to feel like strangers. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We had a wonderful meal and drinks in the evening. The shower could do with a bit of a refresher and the beds were a little creaky, but they were okay to sleep on. It was a great location, just 10 minutes from Stansted Airport. I would highly recommend it for atmosphere, friendliness and convenience. ”
