“Perfect location and historic landmark hotel in broadstairs ”

“We checked into the Yarrow Saturday afternoon and was given a room card with a £1.50 ish very worn card cover, we had a lovely spacious room, then went for drinks in the hotel bar and met family members and went out, we got up the following morning and had a lovely breakfast and the staff was wonderful as they were busy keeping up with customers demands, we packed up and went to check out and as there was no one in reception I left my room card on the desk, forgetting the £1.50 card cover that a left on the room. as I approached the entrance door, I heard 'hallo' as I turned round to the young lady in glasses,"you checking out' yes my card on the desk ' " where's the cover" sorry I left it in the room" "well if it's not there !!" You'll be charged £10 for it!!! ". How nice of the young lady to say " did you have a nice stay"? or did you find everything to your expectations" or thank you for coming!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! It's nice to know my custom is worth £10!!!!! Plastic card holder!!!! How rude!! well it's nice to know the Yarrow is only worth 2 stars !!!!!!!”
