“I always have a good stop over,at this hotel every month ,i stay there”

“Good location for M1 and Barnsley , cabs really reasonable into town. Toby carvery next door with food until 9pm there and in hotel. Room good enough for the price, no frills slight issue, we only had one double socket working and TV aerial had been removed, desk had been pulled over so initially didn’t realise the issue. Bathroom good but no working extractor so everything got wet and stayed wet. Staff pleasant. If having breakfast don’t expect to be quick, both days food had run out and had to wait, by then more people were waiting so not enough food prepared. Would probably stay again as it met our needs for location.”

“Very tidy and spacious room, parking right outside, shared fully equipped kitchen and a shared bathroom with two other rooms but had no problem gaining access. Bit of a climb upstairs but we'll worth the cost. ”

“A friend and I stayed at this hotel. We staff were friendly. Hotel was nice for a standard hotel. Clean and the facilities were great. We made use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Spent the night in a spacious twin room and a huge TV. We hope to return soon”

“We have stayed at Churchills since May 2022 but from being very impressed the first time we stayed it he rooms we have been given have all been unexceptional. The fact that we only paid for a basic room does not forgive the fact there is no drinking water and tumblers provided in the rooms . The previous room had only one bedside table for a couple staying in a double bed! No bedside lights and very worn out towels with holes in them. This time we were unable to get warm as the radiator wasn’t working and the plug in the sink was stuck and when we asked at 11.30 at night for help we weee told it would be morning before any help. The duvet felt like a summer thickness so a bad nights sleep all around . To add insult to injury I received a telephone call from the owner after 9.00 the next morning , we were already checked out and eating breakfast in a nearby pub. too little compensation and too late as the title says we won’t be back. ”

“Very small double bed for the price. Loud banging on doors at 3 am. Re a wedding guest . Will not be returning. The chefs need praise. Food amazing but very short staffed. ”
